Strawberry Vodka Slush Recipe

Strawberry Vodka Slush

I remember how excited I was for spring/summer every single year, I just kept counting down the days and relentlessly bugging my parents about how the weather is looking for the next week.

At this point, they were probably thinking that I’m definitely going to be the weatherman, but my passion for weather wasn’t really the reason behind my excitement.

I know that as the weather got better, we were getting closer and closer…

We were getting closer and closer to the season of strawberries, my favorite fruit – even now 20 years later.

Eating strawberries is fun, it’s delicious and you can prepare them in a thousand different ways, but one of my favorites is to make them into a drink, into a boozy drink actually.

This is one of my all time favorite slushie recipes, the strawberry vodka slush. Are you ready to have some fun and amaze your friends with this delicious recipe?

Strawberry Vodka Slush Preparation in a Blender

Step 1
Start by combining all the ingredients in the blender. The strawberries, the ice cubes, 1 cup of vodka, 3 tablespoons of simple syrup and the lemon soda – if you like it.

Step 2
Cover the top of the blender with a lid and mix and blend every few seconds using the “PULSE” function. This will crush the ice and give us a really incredible slushy texture that consists of half ice and half liquid.

Step 3
Stop when you get your desired texture and consistency and serve immediately. To improve the presentation, feel free to add fresh strawberries and mint leaves as decoration to the glasses.

Note – since this is an icy drink, it’ll melt fast, especially if it’s hot outside – make sure to prepare it right before you plan on serving it.
