Blueberry Fun Fact
Blueberries were called “star berries” by Native Americans because the five points of blueberry blossoms make a star shape. Also, they believed that the ‘Great Spirit’ created the berries to feed their hungry children during the famine.
Blueberry Slushie Preparation in a Slushie Machine
Start by putting the ingredients in a large bowl.
Start with the frozen orange juice concentrate, the water and finally the blueberries.
Pour in the mix into a slushie machine.
Turn on the slushie machine, put on the lid and switch to the ‘SLUSH’ mode on the side of the slushie machine.
Pour the delicious blueberry slushie into the glasses and serve.
The taste-bud blowing blueberry slushie is now ready for consumption, enjoy!
Also, it’s important to note that this should be served immediately after it’s made, otherwise it’ll lose its texture and the ice will start to melt. But if you’re lucky enough to have a slushie machine, you can simply opt for the “preserve mode” and the slushie machine will ensure the icee doesn’t melt.
