Last week while planning a party I had to arrange for my husband’s friend, I thought of trying something different. I felt like my husband and his friends were bored with the same drinks over and over again, so I thought of changing things up.
I mean I love change, I love exploring and experimenting, be it while traveling or while cooking. I personally believe that the kitchen is the best Laboratory! 😉
Fortunately, all my experiments were successful so far.
But here’s what happened last weekend… I was trying to make a new and unique drink for my husband’s friends.
At the outset, I was a little hesitant about the Slushy I was planning to serve, but trust me…. Everybody, including my husband, was astonished to have Jack and Coke Slushie that I made last weekend!

The actual name of the man was Jasper Newton Daniel, but his friends used to call him Jack.
Jack and Coke Slushie Recipe Ingredients
- 12 oz of Diet Coke
- 8 oz of frozen dark sweet cherries
- 4 oz of Jack Daniels
- 6 oz of Diet Coke, chilled
- Maraschino Cherry (for garnishing)
Where to Get the Ingredients for Jack and Coke Slushie
All the ingredients that you need to make Jack and Coke Slushie are easily available. You can get them from the local supermarket, although we recommend getting the fruit from the Farmer’s market, as it tends to be the freshest.
Jack and Coke Slushie Preparation in a Slushie Machine
Step 1
First things first, take out your ice trays and pour 12 ounces of coke into your ice cube trays, then put them in the freezer until solid.
Step 2
Now, take your slushie machine and start putting in the ingredients.
Start with the 8 ounces of frozen dark sweet cherries. Add 4 ounces of Jack Daniels, chilled Coke, and Coke ice cubes.
Step 3
Put on the lid and switch to the ‘SLUSH’ mode and pulse it until the concoction is smooth and mixed completely.
Step 4
Pour the chilled mixture into glasses, garnish with a maraschino cherry and serve immediately.

Recommended Slush Machine for making Jack and Coke Slushie
In order for you to make these tasty Jack Daniels slushies, we truly recommend investing in a slush machine.

Jack and Coke Slushie Preparation in a Blender
Step 1
Take out and set a few ice trays on your counter and pour 12 ounces of coke into your ice cube trays, then put them in the freezer until solid.
Step 2
Continue by taking your blender and start putting in the ingredients.
Start with the 8 ounces of frozen dark sweet cherries. Add 4 ounces of Jack Daniels, chilled Coke, and Coke ice cubes.
Step 3
Put on the lid and use the “PULSE” mode until the concoction is smooth and mixed completely – or to your preferred consistency.
Step 4
Pour the chilled mixture into glasses, garnish with a maraschino cherry and serve to your guests.
