Recently we celebrated the 4th of July, it was a small gathering. Me, my wife, our kids and about 10 of our friends who brought their kids. Maybe the idea of a small gathering quickly spiraled out of control? The more the merrier, right? 🙂
Anyway, as true Americans one of our favorite things, we all look forward to, on the 4th is, of course, the famous 4th of July BBQ!
But I started thinking… Yes, of course, the BBQ is delicious every single year, but what can we do to spice things up? What can we do to make the party a bit more entertaining, at least for the adults? The kids have fun all the time anyway.
So I started thinking and brainstorming and thought of these delicious Pink Lemonade slushies my wife made a few years ago, they were incredible. But that was really a kids drink, so I thought… Why don’t we try adding a bit of Vodka?
And that’s what we did. 🙂 We prepared enough Pink Lemonade Vodka Slushies for all the adults and their feedback was phenomenal, thus you’re in for a treat today.
This is our famous pink lemonade vodka slush recipe!

Pink Lemonade Vodka Slushies Recipe Preparation in a Slushie Machine
Put pink lemonade concentrate, 2 cups of vodka and a full bottle of Sprite into a slushie machine.
Use the mixing function to mix all the ingredients and combine them together.
Cover the top of your slushie machine with the lid and use the “SLUSH” mode on the side of the Margaritaville Tahiti or the slushie machine you’ll be using to prepare the recipe.
Give the slush machine about 3-5 minutes to do its thing and turn the liquid into delicious slush, feeling excited yet? 🙂
As soon as you get the desired slushie texture from the machine, turn the slushie maker off and serve the drinks to your guests immediately.
Remember – this is a frozen drink, the longer you wait – the faster it’ll melt, thus we recommend that you either serve immediately or use the “PRESERVE” function on the slushie machine to prevent the slushies from melting.
Recommended Slush Machine for making Pink Lemonade Vodka Slushies
I remember when I was first picking out my first slushie machine to purchase (this is before I started reviewing them) and the experience was absolutely daunting!
There were dozens of options, all slushie machines had solid reviews, but I just couldn’t decide. In fact, I wish a blog like this one existed when I was first buying my slushie machine.
As of today, my favorite slushie machine is the Margaritaville Tahiti Frozen Drink Maker and the reasons are quite self-explanatory.
First off, the capacity, 72-ounces make sure that we can hold and serve all our guests and this is one of the most important points I was considering when buying the machine.
Second is the reliability factor, so far we’ve been using the machine for 6 months and NEVER EVER had any problems. The machine itself comes with an incredible 1-year warranty, which is a really nice bonus.
And third – the variety of modes and different drinks this machine can prepare – it’s absolutely wonderful that you can have so many options in just one machine.
If you’re looking for the perfect frozen drink machine, make sure to check out the Margaritaville Tahiti, click here and check out the sale, as it is currently on sale until the end of July, 2020.

Attach the blender cover to the top of the blender and mix for about 30 seconds until all the liquids are mixed together thoroughly.
