Recently we celebrated the 4th of July, it was a small gathering. Me, my wife, our kids and about 10 of our friends who brought their kids. Maybe the idea of a small gathering quickly spiraled out of control? The more the merrier, right? 🙂
Anyway, as true Americans one of our favorite things, we all look forward to, on the 4th is, of course, the famous 4th of July BBQ!
But I started thinking… Yes, of course, the BBQ is delicious every single year, but what can we do to spice things up? What can we do to make the party a bit more entertaining, at least for the adults? The kids have fun all the time anyway.
So I started thinking and brainstorming and thought of these delicious Pink Lemonade slushies my wife made a few years ago, they were incredible. But that was really a kids drink, so I thought… Why don’t we try adding a bit of Vodka?
And that’s what we did. 🙂 We prepared enough Pink Lemonade Vodka Slushies for all the adults and their feedback was phenomenal, thus you’re in for a treat today.

Did you know that the only difference between regular lemonade and pink lemonade is that the pink lemonade is made by using pink lemons? 🙂
Pink Lemonade Vodka Slush Ingredients
- 1 pint of ice (only when preparing in the blender)
- a single 12 ounce can of frozen pink lemonade concentrate
- 2 cups of vodka
- 2 liters of lemon-lime soda (Sprite is my favorite)
Where to Get the Ingredients for Pink Lemonade Vodka Slush?
Since the ingredients are totally common, you can easily find them at any local supermarket or nearby convenience store.
Pink Lemonade Vodka Slushies Recipe Preparation in a Slushie Machine
Step 1
Put pink lemonade concentrate, 2 cups of vodka and a full bottle of Sprite into a slushie machine.
Step 2
Use the mixing function to mix all the ingredients and combine them together.
Step 3
Cover the top of your slushie machine with the lid and use the “SLUSH” mode on the side of the Margaritaville Tahiti or the slushie machine you’ll be using to prepare the recipe.
Step 4
Give the slush machine about 3-5 minutes to do its thing and turn the liquid into delicious slush, feeling excited yet? 🙂
Step 5
As soon as you get the desired slushie texture from the machine, turn the slushie maker off and serve the drinks to your guests immediately.
Remember – this is a frozen drink, the longer you wait – the faster it’ll melt, thus we recommend that you either serve immediately or use the “PRESERVE” function on the slushie machine to prevent the slushies from melting.

Pink Lemonade Vodka Slush Preparation in a Blender
Step 1
First off take the can of frozen pink lemonade concentrate and add it to the blender. The continue by adding the vodka and Sprite.
Step 2
Attach the blender cover to the top of the blender and mix for about 30 seconds until all the liquids are mixed together thoroughly.
Step 3
Add the ice cubes to the blender and then periodically mix and blend by using the “PULSE” function on your blender. This will give us the perfect slushie texture.
Step 4
Stop when you get your desired texture and serve to your guests immediately.
